We, the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of St.Vincent de Paul, Mananthavady see "Jesus, the Evangelizer of the poor" as the supreme value in our lives, and see ourselves propagating the Kingdom of God by devoting ourselves through the works of Christian Charity.

Mission

• We join together to create a better everyday life for the mentally challenged and their care takers.
• To promote optimal mental health for the mentally challenged, differentially abled, drug abusers and the socially abandoned.
• To provide advanced and modern biological, psychological and psychosocial interventions in cost effective method to bring back the mentally challenged and disturbed to main stream.

Mile Stones

• Louise Mount Convent Started on 25/03/1976
• Louise Mount Hospital Inaugurated on 06/02/1977
• Changed over to Louise Mount Psychiatric Hospital on 03/07/1989
• It is Registered under Charitable Trust in the year 2010.
• It has celebrated its Silver Jubilee in the year 2013.
• It received 12AA Registration and is exempted from Income Tax.
• It is registered under KSMHA (Kerala State Mental Health Authority) in the year 2014 (License NO: is 36/2014).
